Michael Norris visited the set of ‘Daylight Fades’ all 38 days of principal photography in January and February 2009.

The result? A book of stunning images entitled DRINK THE NIGHT available in either hardcover or softcover.

The book is presented with 10 x 8 pages of photographs from the set and includes an index of all cast & crew members from the primary shoot.

As we prepare for the premiere of DAYLIGHT FADES in June… Old School Pictures invites you to a night of nostalgia with our previous feature film ACT ONE (2005).

ACT ONE will screen 9pm outdoors at South Main Trolley Tour in Downtown Memphis. (corner of South Main and G.E. Patterson)

The screening is presented by Indie Memphis and Delphinium Boutique.

Popcorn, food from Harry’s Detour, and refreshments from Calhoun’s Sports Bar will be available all night.

Come early between 6-9pm to tour the art galleries and businesses in South Main… and also enjoy circus-themed entertainment from magicians, fire throwers, and other street performers.

Old School Pictures traveled to Baton Rouge to participate in the LSU Digital Media Festival on April 20th.

Students participated in a workshop to learn about independent filmmaking. We shared our experience producing Daylight Fades and answered questions from students currently working on their own film and video projects.

Later in the evening we held a *sneak peak* screening of the film at The Varsity theatre.

We will be announcing dates for our Memphis Summer Premiere soon!

FilmMemphisTV has now premiered online featuring Memphis film production including DAYLIGHT FADES!

The Memphis Film Commission and Live From Memphis have created this online web series with support from Memphis ED and Memphis Fast Forward to highlight the flourishing local film scene.

The Daylight Fades phenomenon is once again sweeping through the streets of Memphis this week. The dedicated cast and crew is setting up shop all around town shooting additional photography and gearing up for the final leg of post-production.

Thanks to all the extras who came out to Midtown on Tuesday in the wee hours of the morn’ to help us grab the perfect take. Also, special thanks to Red Bull for once again giving us our wings.

After premiering at the South Main Trolley Tour in June, the trailer made its Internet debut on 07.08.09. The two minute trailer’s online release coincides with the launching of the new Daylight Fades fan page on Facebook.
